Media reports today suggest that Liverpool ace striker Luis Suarez could be heading to Bayern Munich when Pep Guardiola takes over the reins at the Allianz Arena.

Suarez’s blistering form is bound to attract interest from big European clubs. The Uruguay International reportedly has a 36 Million pound buy out clause on his Liverpool contract which he re-signed in the summer.

Although Suarez looks settled and has shown no signs of discontent, if a team can trigger the buy out clause, Liverpool will have no option but to let their star striker leave, unless the player himself rejects the move.

Suarez and Guardiola share the same agent, which seems to be the main reason behind the speculation. Suarez had earlier expressed his desire to play at Barcelona under Guardiola. Now that Pep has moved to Germany and would certainly like to apply his methods at Bayern, a bunch of players are being linked with a move to the Allianz Arena.

Luis Suarez has had a torrid time in England, off the pitch, dealing with controversies one after the other. English media has had a ‘go’ at him time and again, be it the racist remark on Patrice Evra or the handball incident against Mansfield and labeling the player as a cheat.

It is this negative public image that could make John Henry consider cashing in on the player. However, if Suarez does leave Liverpool this summer, it would be a major blow to the Champions League aspiration of the club as the striker has literally carried the them on his shoulders with 20 goals this season.
