32. Chika Wali, Douhou and Karma T to join the Salgaocar Bandwagon

With Derrick Pereira joining the Goan side from next season, it was imminent that a small contingent of players which follow the footsteps of their former coach. Sources in Goa have revealed to TheHardTackle that Pune FC defender Chika Wali has signed a deal with Salgaocar in a move that will see him unite with his former coach.Wali would be good addition to the squad and would be expected the fill the void left by captain Luciano Sabrosa. Karma T has been very consistent as well during a record breaking Pune Fc season and his sign on the Salgaocar papers would certainly add teeth to the ever impressing mid field.

It is also rumored that Douhou Peirre is also on his way out to join the Goan club. With Chika and Karma almost confirmed, Douhou’s departure now seems to be on the cards. These additions would certainly build up a robust mid field for the former I-league champions.

It is rumored that Dempo are trying hard to get their former I-League winner back into the ranks. Brazilian play maker Roberto Mendes aka Beto is currently under a contract at Churchill Brothers, but the news suggest that Dempo have shown keem intrest in bringing him back.
