165. Salgaocar SC to build on a strong Indian base and their sound youth system.

Derrick Pereira had won rave reviews for his management style and for getting the best out of players during his stint with Pune FC. Salgaocar coach also possess good pedigree in developing young players. He is happy with the sound youth system of Salgaocar SC and has promoted 6 youngsters to the senior team for the upcoming season. Salgaocar has added players Rakesh Masih (Mohun Bagan), Felix D’Souza (Churchill Brothers), T Karma (Pune FC) and Jeevan Nalge (Deccan) to bolster their squad ahead of next season and are hoping to capitalize on the strong Indian base. Derrick has just one foreigner in the squad currently in the form of Chika Wali and will be looking to strengthen that department in the upcoming days for a title push.

Sources from Goa have revealed that Dempo Sports Club have more or less finalized their team except the fourth foreign player. The list goes as follows

Midfielders : Clifford Miranda, Godwin Franco, Peter Carvalho, Mandar Rao Dessai, Aniston Fernandes, Romeo Fernandes, Gabriel Fernandes, Jewel Raja, Roberto Mendes Da Silva

Strikers : Billy Mehmet, Jeje Lalpekhlua, Myron FernandesJoy Ferrao

It has also been learnt that thee will also be around 8-10 junior players who will play mostly in Goa League who may be called into action if needed.

167. JSW Bangalore brings Thoi Singh, talks are going on with 3 players.

New corporate team in I-League, JSW Bangalore has started its transfer market activities. Indian skipper Sunil Chhetri had recently revealed that he would like to return to Bangalore in a months time. So the project is exciting for sure. They have roped in Mumbai Tigers player Thoi Singh already to their roster. Talks are ongoing with 3 other payers and it is believed that deal is close for Goan pair Bruno Colaco and Keegan Periera while former Mohun Bagan player Quinton Jacobs completes the list.

168. Second division club DSK Shivajians, Pune to recruit 5 youngsters from Kerala.

Kerala has been blessed with a lot of international players in the past. Even though Vineeth CK, is the only flag bearer for the southern state in Indian Football team at the present, DSK Shivajians, Pune are ready willing to invest in the future. Second division club DSK Shivajians claims that they have more fan base than India’s most professional club, Pune FC which lies in the same city. Shivajians are looking forward to 5 youngsters from the state with the hope of reaping rewards in the long run. These youngsters are the product of a 5 year stint with the Tirur Sports Academy and the expectations are high on them. PP Rishad, TV Mohammed Irshad, Abdul Hakku, M Mohammed Niyaz, and K P Mohammed Shibili are the players selected by DSK Shivajanas and they are expected to join the club in first week of July.
