Sanchez has struggled settle down in Barcelona after his big money move from Udinese last season and Barcelona might be looking to offload him and recuperate some of the money spent during his transfer. Despite his mixed record in La Liga, the Chilean is a proven goal scorer in Serie A and Juventus, in hunt for more strikers after sealing a deal with Llorente, has moved in to join the race to secure his signature.
Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal have the same agent and reports suggest that Juventus has started talks of a possible transfer move worth 27 million Euros. Sanchez played a role in convincing Vidal to come to Serie A last season and Vidal may end up convincing Sanchez to join Juventus.
Alexis Sanchez is likely to leave Barcelona in summer thanks to a combination of reasons like his indifferent form, the return of David Villa from injury and Barcelona looking for money to fund a possible move for Neymar in summer. The presence of compatriots Arturo Vidal and Mauricio Isla (incidentally Sanchez’s team-mate in Udinese) is also likely to act as a positive catalyst for him to join Juventus. Kwadwo Asamoah, another of Sanchez’s Udinese team-mates is also part of Juventus now.
Alexis Sanchez scored 20 goals in 95 matches for Udinese but reached his peak in 2010/11 season as he formed a lethal combination with Antonio Di Natale. The duo combined to score 39 goals and helped Udinese reach Champions League.
