Podolski starts from the bench for Arsenal while Robin van Persie returns to the starting line-up of Manchester United.

Subs: Koscielny, Rosicky, Podolski, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Mannone, Gervinho

The big news for Arsenal is that Podolski, who scored Arsenal’s only goal against Bayern Munich, drops to the bench along with Aaron Ramsey, while Giroud and Diaby starts in their place. Giroud will start upfront with Walcott dropping back to his wide role. Diaby will partner Arteta in front of the defence. Cazorla will move out wide while Wilshere will play in-behind Giroud.

Sagna, who is injured, will be replaced by Jenkinson, who has returned after serving his suspension, at the right back. Koscielny will be replaced by Monreal in the starting line-up as Vermaelen moves back to his role of a center-back.

Robin van Persie will return to the starting line-up as Rooney starts from the bench. Nani, who performed brilliantly in the FA cup will retain his place as well. Hernandez gets a start alongside the Dutchman upfront while Carrick and Giggs starts in the midfield. Vidic and Ferdinand resumes their partnership in the center of the defence for the first time since January.
