Luka Modric’s transfer is the story of this transfer season. Last season, major clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United were believed to be in the race to sign the Croatian but Tottenham Hotspur refused to entertain their bids. With Spurs failing to make it to the Champions’ League, Luka Modric looks to have decided to pursue his career at another club.

The rumors began to fly thick and fast. Modric began to be linked to Chelsea and Manchester United before Real Madrid threw their hat into the ring. With PSG now rumored to be bidding for Modric, it appears that the Spurs playmaker will most definitely be plying his trade outside Spurs.

    As a publication this takes some beating. Just who gave you the authority to publish a mock auction for a club player under contract. I really wish this could be challenged in a court of law and you receive a fine big enough to put you out of business.

    You missed an important 5th option – he actually stays at WHL. After all he is still under contract and Levy is by no means a pushover. Spurs are building for the future and there is still a chance he may realise this when he comes back from his holiday and speaks to AVB. However if he does go.. then it will definitely be for a club overseas.

    WHY WOULD SPURS SELL MODRIC TO CHELSEA AFTER THEIR DISGRACEFUL ATTEMPT TO LURE HIM AWAY LAST SEASON AND WITH AVB IN CHARGE AT SPURS NOW,IT EVEN MAKES WORSE AS HE WOULDN’T MAKE HIS FORMER TEAM STRONGER THAN HIS OWN.

    I think that he should sign with Man U because his style of play would be showcased so well there and he could achieve great things as the club regains the championship. I hope he doesn’t just move for money.
