Despite signing several new players, Bagan have also retained Anwar Ali, Kingshuk Debnath, Snehasish Chakraborty, Manish Maithani, Manish Bharghav,Jewel Raja and Shilton Paul. All of them had a decent run of of form in the last season. Sankar of Prayag as well as Naveen Kumar and C.S.Sabeeth have also signed for Bagan

Dempo Officials have denied approaching Senegalese Forward Dame N’Doye currently playing at F.C. Copenhagen in Denmark. Contrary to the reports in media, that Dempo have reportedly  offered him a 3 year contract, Dempo officials have denied such a move

190. Tolgay signs for Mohun Bagan, Eyes on Sunil Chettri now

Tolgay will finally sign a two year contract with Mohun Bagan tomorrow after a month long controversy surrounding the Australian. The former East Bengal striker was unveiled as a Mohun Bagan striker yesterday after the KFL matches and was handed the number 10 jersey. The Tolgay-Odafa combo  would definately be one to watch out for and it will be interesting to see what National team striker Sunil Chettri does as it is very unlikely that he would get a chance in the first team

Santosh Kashyap is probably going to be the coach of Mohun Bagan. A Hungarian coach most probably will be the technical  director Mohun Bagan is in contact with him through the source of Iger (A former Bagan player)

188. Drama Surrounding Trevor Morgan

It was an action packed evening in Kolkata as the news of Trevor Morgan resigning as the East Bengal coach broke out after East Bengal won the Kolkata Football League but the East Bengal officials denied any such move and said that Morgan was going to continue for another season

187. East Bengal Linked With Two A-League Strikers

If reports coming out in Bengali news papers and channels are to be believed, then Kingfisher East Bengal are trying to acquire the services of an Australian A-League player as the replacement for Tolgay Ozbey. News Time Bangla, a popular 24×7 Bengali news channel which telecast I-League live, has reported that Red-&-Gold brigade is in talks with Adelaide United striker and 2010-11 A-League top scorer Serginho van Dijk and Club Deltras young center forward Sean Rooney to negotiate on a possible transfer move. While Sean can be roped in for around Rs 60 Lakhs a season, Dijk’s price may be a concern for the Kolkata giants as he is demanding almost double that amount – reports News Time.
