290. Kingshuk Debnath to join Mohammedan Sporting

After failing to secure a place in the initial list of players submitted by Bagan for next season,  Kingshuk Debnath who was in the Indian team for the AFC Challenge is reportedly in talks with Mohammedan Sporting. Kingshuk’ s future at Bagan was always suspect to doubt after a not-so-great last season

290. Carlos Hernandez rejects Prayag offer

Carlos Hernandez, the Costa-Rica international who played in the A-League last season has rejected Prayag’s offer and has joined an Iranian club as per reports

289. Mehtab making the switch?

As per Bengali daily ‘Kolkata Saradin‘ Mehtab Hussain has reportedly signed for Mohun Bagan for a monumental fee of Rs 92 lakhs. He has one more year left on his contract with their arch rivals EastBengal but according to FIFA rules, players over 28 can break their contracts but their current club needs to be paid compensation. Mohun Bagan has sent all the relevant documents to FIFA as well.

THT Verdict: Unlikely
