395. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu to train at Wigan

Indian U-22 as well as East Bengal goal-keeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu is all set to go a training cum trial stint at the EPL club Wigan Athletic. Sandhu has impressed English Football Pundit John Burridge, the man who took Al-Habsi to Wigan. Burridge had come down to Muscat to see Sandhu play in AFC U-22 where he put in a splendid display under the post and impressed him. It is surely going to be a great experience for Sandhu regardless of whether a move materializes or not

United Sikkim will now be called as URO United Sikkim after the Baichung Bhutia owned club roped in Kolkata-based URO Group as sponsors for next season
