386. Churchill Brothers sign Lebanese Defender

Churchill Brothers have signed Lebanon defender Bilal Najjarin for the coming season as the Player of Asian Origin. The towering defender has represented his nation in 28 matches and is tough nut to crack because of his physically imposing structure. The deal is expected to be valued somewhere around 80 Lakhs per annum.

385. TFA to build senior team, play in I-League

According to Pratidin , a leading Bengali newspaper, Mr. Sanjib Pal Vice President of Tata Steel has said that from the next season, TFA will participate in the I-League and that the process is on to convert TFA into a company. TFA is also planning to recruit senior players as well as some foreigners

384. Shillong Lajong to hold trials for Foreign players

Shillong Lajong have built an ambitious roadmap for the coming season and under newly appointed coach Desmond Blupin are all set to hold a pre-season camp from 25th of this month. The club has retained only Johnny Menyongar as the foreign player from last season. After a North Korean defender arrived for trials last month, it is being reported in media that two more defenders from Brazil and USA along with strikers from Ghana, Guinea and Portugal are arriving for trials

383. Mumbai FC sign Ghanian Defender

Mumbai FC has signed Evans Quao for the coming season for an amount of Rs 35 Lakhs in a bid to shore up their  defense which conceded a lot of goals last season. Evans also played for the Mumbai based club in 2010-11 season and is no stranger to the I-League Football

382. United Sikkim interested in Santu Subba

Services striker Santu Subba who caught the eyes of talent scouts in the recently concluded Santosh Trophy has been linked with United Sikkim for a possible move. In a related news his striker partner V.V. Farad is close to sign for the Baichung Bhutia’s side
