PUNE FC ‘A’ team are  through to the Semi-Finals of AAHA Gold Cup in Nepal.

ABUNG MEETEI scored the lone goal for the Red Lizards as they ousted SAHARA CLUB from Kathmandu in a thrilling encounter. The young prodigy scored teh goal in the 77th minute.

PUNE FC ‘A’ Team consists of PENINSULA PUNE FC ACADEMY boys. They are all mentored by  PUNE FC’s Youth Development coach, Mr. RANJAN CHAUDHARY.

Colm Joeseph Toal, the Head Coach for the youth development in India announced that a two month long coaching-cum-selection  camp is set in place, for all the 75 boys who were selected from AIFF U-14 Football Fest, orgainized in different parts of India.

 30 boys are scheduled to be  shortlisted out of 75 boys chosen from the Fest over a three week window. . The shortlisted 30 kids would represent India in the AFC U-14 Fest scheduled to be held in Kathmandu.

 A new bunch of boys will join the 30 boys, who would be  chosen from the Subroto Cup, the U-16 Nationals (boys born in 1998) and the set of boys chosen by Scott O’Donell from Open Trials. The Camp would go on till mid-May form which the batches for the Regional Academies would be finalised.
