Pune FC Goalkeeper Abhra Mondol, who is on loan from East Bengal, has been hospitalized after a collision with Eugeneson Lyngdoh in the I-League match against Shillong Lajong in Shillong yesterday. According to North Eastern Indira Gandhi regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences, Abhra’s right leg is fractured (Tibia and Fibula). Lajong keeper L.Ralte, who also injured and hospitalized, he is in stable condition. Mondol becomes third Pune Fc goalkeeper to be injured after Subrata and Shahinlal were already sidelined due to injuries. Abhra is set to be out for atleast 3 months.
Dempo’s Chief Coach Armando Colaco is gradually recovering from his recent heart angioplasty surgery. He is expected to be released in 4 days.
