After Lajong FC last week, Sporting Clube de Goa became the second club in back to back weeks to lodge an official complaint with AIFF. Like Lajong, Sporting’s complaint was not against the match official but against Mumbai FC coach Khalid Jamil. Jamil reportedly shouted obsenities at Sporting striker James Moga in Arabic language and tried to send him off by provoking him.

South Korean outfit Hallelujah FC concluded their Goa tour with a second victory over Archbishop’s Goa XI in as many matches. The second match played in Duler Stadium, Mapusa ended goal less after 90 minutes with the Korean edging the tie 7-6 in penalty shoot-out. Hallelujah FC’s tour of Goa was extremely well appreciated by the local crowd who turned up in numbers to watch them.

AIFF will be holding a U14 Football festival in Kalyani, West Bengal between January 31 and February 4.
