In a move that could pitch the game higher in India, KNVB, the Royal Dutch Football Association, will provide tactical and technical expertise for a 24/7 football school for Bangalore’s underprivileged children.

Mohammedan SC won their first trophy of current season by capturing the Kalinga Cup. The Black & Whites defeated Vasco in the final in Cuttack, Orissa by a 2-1 scoreline. Alfred ans Stanley scored Mohammedan’s goals.

The match between international superstars and veterans of Indian football to be held on 23rd January has ran into troubled waters. A famous European football agent has accused the main organization of never contracting Robert Pires or Pele for this match. The main organizers are yet to come out with a statement. Curiously, the ticket sale of this match has not yet began despite being scheduled to begin from 9th January.
