Pre-match: An Important match for both the teams. A win for Chirag might see them climbing to the top-5 in the league standings while another slump here would dump Indian Arrows in to the relegation mix.
Indian Arrows: Jagroop, Abhishek, Vishal, Inderpreet, Lalrozama, Lalrindika, Jibon, Jwell, Shilton, Jeje, Malswamfela
Chirag United: Somnath, Anupam, Chika, Arnab, Narugopal, Denson, Subhas, Nascimento, Tulunga, Joshimar, Junior

He is expected to take on the field from round-15 matches onwards. Today Chirag have to do it with out Sunil and they are not doing badly here having majority of ball possession. It still remains goal-less at Gurgaon.

15′: Fine skill on display here from Jeje Lalpekhlua as he dodged past two Chirag players before firing a low shot, Somnath Khara did well to get a hand to it and the ball rebounds to Lalrindika. With an open net to aim for, surprisingly he hits it wide.

30′: Great curling delivery from a free kick by Jibon Singh. Goes out by a whisker. Jewel Raja Sheikh gets in to the referee’s book for a foul on Subhash.
35′: Chirag has made a couple of dangerous forward runs in last 5 minutes or so. In one such attempt, Joshimar sets off a little too early and has been ruled offside. Then again in the very next minute offside trap catches another attempt by Joshimar-Tulunga and Junior. The scoreline remains 0-0 and we are 10 minutes away from the half-time mark.
40′: Joshimar tries a long ranger from outside the box. Goes out wide. Jagroop takes the goalkick but it lands at the feet of Denson who provides another teasing ball to Joshimar. Joshimar chips it in for his strike partner Junior but the striker takes one touch too many and Vishal makes a clean tackle to clear the ball.
HT: Joshimar is guilty of making a mess of another great opportunity. On the other side of the field, Jeje continues to compete with Joshimar with another costly miss from inside the six yards box. With this the referee blows the half time whistle and it’s still goal-less at Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex here at Gurgaon.
60′ : Still goal-less after the hour mark. The youngsters have defended really well so far.
75′ : Chirag United is trying hard to break Indian Arrow’s defence. Junior missed a gilt edged chance to put his team ahead.
78′ : Denson !!! Wonderful long ranger from Denson but he fails to place the shot properly, hitting it straight to Jagroop.
80′ : Indian Arrows are looking worn out. Not a good sign for such a young team.
82′: Jewel Raja !!! What an effort from the central midfielder !! Indian Arrows almost took a lead !
85′ : Good pressure from Indian Arrows in last 10 minutes, they could have scored a goal in this period.
FT : Indian Arrows 0-0 Chirag United :: A case of missed opportunities for both teams. This was a pretty exciting 0-0 draw and both teams got a lot of chances to score a goal. Poor finishing led to a goal-less match in the end. Neither team will be helped by a single point from this encounter.

That’s the beauty of the game of football. East Bengal still remains at the summit of the league standings, but a 4-0 win by Salgaocar tomorrow against Viva will drop them behind Karim’s team in terms of goal difference.
