139. Brazilian Hudson Lima and Australian Simon Storey Sign for Mohun Bagan

Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan completed their foreign quota by formally signing Brazilian creative midfielder Hudson Lima and Australian central defender Simon Storey on Sunday. The other two foreigners in their squad are Odafa Okolie and Jose Barreto.

137. Loukik Jadhav Signs for Indian Arrows

Indian Arrows have roped in Bengal Mumbai FC defender Loukik Jadhav for the upcoming season. Loukik, 22, has previously played a couple of I-League matches for Mahindra United before the team got disbanded.

136. East Bengal Sign Alan Gow as their Fourth Foreigner

Scottish midfielder Alan Gow, who has previously plied his trade for top European club sides Rangers, Blackpool, Norwich City and Notts County, will don East Bengal jersey in the upcoming season. The contract will see Gow playing  for the red-&-Golds till the end of 2011-12 season.  The financial aspects of the deal has not been made public, but it is rumored to be in the range of Rs 1.15 – 1.3 Crore.

135. East Bengal Get Inter-state Clearance for Pune FC’s Sunil Kumar

Pune FC full back Sunil Kumar (not Sunil Kumar Thakur, who is also on East Bengal’s team roaster), who has been impressive for the Red Lizzards in last I-League season, has been roped in by the Kolkata giants. East Bengal Club official website confirmed about the signing mentioning that both MDFA and AIFF have already issued the required inter-state clearance for the player.

134. Ogba Kalu Joins Sporting Goa, Anupam Sarkar to don Prayag United jersey

Former Churchill Brothers and Dempo midfielder Ogba Kalu Nanna’s signing has been confirmed by Sporting Club de Goa. Kalu’s experience will be vital for the newly promoted Goan side, who have a rather young side in their ranks.

Meanwhile, Bengal state team captain and former Chirag United player Anupam Sarkar has decided to re-unite with his old club – now rebranded as the Prayag United with the new sponsors ”R. P. Techvision India Private Limited” on-board. He had earlier signed for Mohun Bagan, even though he was a contracted player of United SC till the end of 2011/12 season.

133. Alan Gow to Sign for East Bengal Today

Scottish footballer Allan Gow had an impressive first practice session with East Bengal club yesterday, where he scored a goal with a left-footed pile-driver. Mainly a left footed player, Alan is capable of playing in the midfield, wing or even as a striker. East Bengal coach Trevor Morgan is happy with Alan’s display and it has been learned that the club officials will held a talk with his agent today at the club house to negotiate about the financial aspects of the deal. In all probability it looks like Alan will be the 4th foreigner for East Bengal in the upcoming season.

132. Transfer Updates.

Salgaocar has confirmed that Elijah Junior will be playing for them next season.
Former India NT winger Manas Bhattacharya has been announced as coach fo IFA Academy.
Mohammedan SC signed a number of new players on Tuesday including the likes of Suman Dutta and Surabuddin.
Tollygunge Agragami signed three players from JCT – Parveen Kumar, Amandeep and Jasbinder.
